Who would have thought we'd make it this far? 12 weeks and 3 months all in the same day. She's getting so big. At times, it feels like it's gone by WAAAAY too fast, at others, it feels like it has gone by slow.
This month, we went to Thanksgiving with the Taylors in Cincinnati. We met Adri's little cousin, Chase. The two of them next to each other is pretty funny to see since he's 10 days younger than her, but it made me realize how small she really is. She should probably be the same size as Chase at this point, but is just now catching up to the size he was when he was born! She's a petite little thing.
She's finally in 0-3 month clothes. They actually fit her the way they should. She can still fit into newborn stuff, but the sleeves are too short. This makes me laugh that she's 3 months and she's only in 0-3's. I love it.
She's learning so much. She smiles all over the place. She is staying awake longer between feedings. She learned what snow is and didn't like it too much. I got a picture of her in it, and she's not crying at that moment, but it's because she was trying to catch her breath because of how cold it was. Don't worry, we were only out there for a minute.
I can't imagine what my life would be like without her. Even though there are times when I can't figure out why she's crying and I can't do anything else to help her, she's my baby and I love her.

Two Months
Adrianna's two months old now. I can't even believe it! She's done a lot of growing in the last month. The weather has finally become Fall-ish and we had to turn the heat on. Adri's little nose got stuffy and she wasn't feeling well at all (top picture). We got her a humidifier and some nose drops and she's good to go now.
She's finally the size of a normal newborn but is plugging along as a two month-er. Her neck is so strong. The doctor even commented on it as if he was shocked. While she was sleeping well and eating only every 4 hours, she has now decided that she needs to eat every 3 hours at night, but is content with every 4 hours in the day. Silly baby.
She's tipping the scales at 7lbs, 11.5 oz and is 20 inches long. Her cheeks are getting fatter and her arms and legs are beginning to show signs of rolls. I'm so excited to see some rolls on my preemie.
All in all, she's the cutest baby ever and she's perfect.

One Month
I can't believe that 4 weeks ago today, I was told I was having a baby. I didn't plan on any of this happening until next week. And in these 4 weeks, we've all been through so much. We've all learned and grown, and ready or not, she's here.
Adri came home 2 weeks ago and our lives have changed more than we thought possible. Our hearts have grown and we have more love than we thought possible, too. In these past 2 weeks, we've also learned that sleep is no longer a priority in our lives. It seems this is going to be true for 18 years or so. I've been told it gets better...I can't wait for that to happen. I'm not complaining, I'm in love with her, but I also love sleep.
Adri is doing tummy time right now and is pretty much just going to sleep. She's good with holding her head up when she's being held, but not so much at tummy time yet. We're working on it. Other than that, she's not doing too many exciting things. She's been out to Target and to eat with us a few times now. She's a pro at the car seat. Hopefully that will stay true for a while.
I'm excited to see what the next 4 weeks brings. We'll let you know.

Home!!
Adrianna got to come home Tuesday. Exactly 2 weeks after she was born. She came home at 4 pounds, 6 ounces. She proved everyone at Kosair wrong. She didn't have anything else wrong with her like the anticipated and she didn't have to stay until her due date. This child is amazing!
She went to the pediatrician today and she is up to 4 pounds, 10 ounces. The doctor said she looks perfect. A little small, but perfect.
She eats six times a day, every four hours except at night when she tries her hardest to eat every three hours. We try to make her wait, but she has better plans, so we usually give in. Because of this, her schedule changes almost every day.
We're so happy to have her home with us.
Stay tuned for more stories of the greatest baby ever.

Well, I'm here
Adrianna's here and is working on growing big already. She was born Tuesday, September 7, 2010. She is perfect in every way.
I went in for a normal doctor's appointment starting my weekly appointments for my last month and was intent on telling the doctor about my heartburn. My blood pressure was taken which wasn't high by any means...just a little high for me. The nurse took it twice and the doctor wasn't worried about it at all. Then I told her about my heartburn and headaches and she decided to do some blood work. It's a good thing she did because I was beginning to go into HELLP syndrome which is part of pre-eclampsia. I didn't have high blood pressure, but I did have elevated liver enzymes and low platelets. This is best taken care of by giving birth. The next 24 hours after are important as well and you have to stay on Magnesium Sulfate which will make your body turn on itself. It's absolutely no fun to have a baby this way.
The other down side is having to give birth early. Adrianna is 35 weeks and still has a lot to learn before she can go home. Right now, she's working on sucking and getting her gut to move everything around right. She's brilliant though so she'll just take her time and will get it done when it's done.
She's hanging out in the Special Care Nursery at the hospital and I'm hanging out in my room. We get to see each other every once in a while, but it's not what we really want. We really want to hang out together all the time. She's a pretty great kid.

Showered with Love
Well, mom and I went to Bowling Green and to Cincinnati the past couple weekends and some people outside gave me some great stuff, apparently. I already love getting stuff to make me super cute and to keep me comfy when it's cold this winter. I am so loved by so many people already. We're some pretty lucky people here in the Robison home.
Thank you to everyone. I can't wait to meet you all!

I'm in here
Here I am!! I'm 30 weeks old and I'm growing so fast. It's looking like mommy's gonna have to get a bit bigger before I'm ready to come outside.
I hear this guy a lot from inside mommy. I'm pretty sure his name is Bauer since that's the name I hear a lot. There's another one named Kaiah. She seems to be a bit crazy. I can't wait to meet them. I love them already and I'm pretty sure they love me already too. It's gonna be a good relationship.
When I get out of here, I'll have more pictures to show. I'm excited to get to know all of you and for you all to get to know me.
bye
